We have just completed our eighth year of operation, all pleasingly successful, despite the difficult economic climate. Over the last twelve months we have won a number of new and interesting contracts, and our portfolio of clients and business activities continues to expand and diversify.
At TrioPlus we specialise in the set up and development of projects and programmes, primarily in the fields of sport physical recreation and leisure. Client confidence and satisfaction are at the heart of every project undertaken and this is reinforced by the TrioPlus principle of bidding for work where we believe we can add significant value.
Each of the four TrioPlus Directors has independently run their own successful consultancy businesses. Prior to that, they all held a senior position in the sport and leisure sector: Phillip Sandilands as former Director of Facilities for The Lawn Tennis Association; David Carpenter as former Director of the Lottery Sports Fund; Bob Knowles as the Fund’s former Head of Operations; and Alex Newton (who joined us in 2009, adding a further dimension to our broad range of expertise) was NW Regional Manager for the English Institute of Sport.
The combined experience and synergy of these individuals represents the driving force behind TrioPlus. Project to project, they are complemented by a carefully selected team of Associates who have held equally senior positions in a range of influential organisations.
"Bob's contribution was significant and helped to ensure that the Veterans Reunited programme was able to go live just ten weeks after the initial work was started."
"TrioPlus director David Carpenter highlights serious issues for the future of grass and synthetic surfaces in the latest edition of Sports Management."
"Phil successfully led the TrioPlus team to develop an operational and business plan for the new National Tennis Centre in Roehampton."
